"Gripping and eviscerating [...] deeply concerned with lives, and poetry, as relational, while being willing to experiment with form. Here ‘the personal is political’ in a rapid and whirling array of truths, taking on a kaleidoscope of potentially fatal colours."
– Vahni Capildeo, judge of the 2017 Melita Hume Poetry Prize
Drafts of my debut poetry collection have been shortlisted for the Melita Hume Poetry Prize (2017) and the RædLeaf International Poetry Award (2016). In 2017 I was awarded 3rd place in the Hammond House International Prize for Poetry.
My writing has appeared in Berfrois, Flash: The International Short-Short Story Magazine, Jalada, New Coin, New Contrast, PN Review, Poetry & Audience, SPAM, Stand, Tears in the Fence, Tentacular, Zoomorphic, and elsewhere.
I am a poetry editor at Stand and a founding editor of EPIZOOTICS.
