About
Caitlin Stobie is an author of fiction, poetry, and literary criticism. Her latest book is a short story collection, The Smell of Blood and Other Stories, co-authored with Kharys Ateh Laue.
She is a winner of the Douglas Livingstone Creative Writing Competition, the Heather Drummond Memorial Prize for Poetry, the Hammond House International Literary Prize, and an Authors' Foundation grant from the Society of Authors. Thin Slices was shortlisted for the Ingrid Jonker Prize for English Poetry, the Melita Hume Poetry Prize and the Rædleaf International Poetry Award.
Caitlin is Lecturer in Creative Writing and Programme Leader for the BA English Literature with Creative Writing at the University of Leeds. She also works on the editorial team at Stand.
